This film doesn't seem to know where it wants to go with it's characters or with the story, and as such it makes it a rather confusing tale which will leave most wondering what on earth they just watched.
However, Phoenix is wonderful as the narcoleptic hustler Mike Waters, showing great depth in his acting and bringing some empathy towards his character.
