Review of My Own Private Idaho (1991) by Johnyjonyjohnjon K — 14 Feb 2008
Keanu Reeves can act? No!? well no he can't actually but this was back in the day when he at least appeared in great films even though he can't act. Phoenix is brilliant in this and defines his excellence.
Well done Van Sant who adapted Henry IV for this compelling piece of cinema. I know you yanks will be asking 'what happened to Henry I to III?' But I jest. One thing you can say about Reeves is he uses his body shape well in acting (one thing I remember from my film school days).
