Review of My Name Is Khan (2010) by Tim B — 28 Nov 2011
I liked much of it, I loved some of it. I thought it tried to pack in a little too much (eg - the Georgia subplot), and the idea of him being an Aspergers syndrome patient is stretched a bit too far (erring more on the side of autism).
However on the whole, this is a movie with heart, and being a Karan Johar film is exceptionally made. Acting is superb, and if nothing else, it is a wonderful portrait of Muslims in post-9/11 America.
