I love Bruce Campbell. He has a great sense of humor about himself and I do enjoy a cheesy movie at times. But I feel they really dropped the ball here. The movie was fun, don't get me wrong. But Campbell (who also directed it) had a chance to really bring back his Evil Dead roots and make a great horror film again, but horrific acting and an incredible lackluster plot do more harm than good.
Still... if you're just looking to be entertained for 94 min (which is really all this movie sets out to do) then you can't go wrong here.
