Review of My Name Is Bruce (2007) by Greg C — 10 Aug 2009
As a fan of Bruce Campbell I so badly wanted to love this film. But I felt so let down and I'm not really sure why? Is it because I'd built this film up to much? Were my expectations to great? It had everything I thought it would.
A preposterous plot, The Chin at his wise cracking sarcastic best. Plenty of in jokes for the fan boys. B-movie acting, Gore and set pieces. So why did I feel so disappointed? I think I was expecting something a little more like his book Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way, which was hilarious.
Though it sickens me to even think it, maybe I have become weary of The chin?
