Review of My Mom's New Boyfriend (2008) by Vijayendra M — 06 May 2009
This movie was funnier than it had any right to be. All likeable actors, though Meg Ryan doesn't look so good post-facework. Colin Hanks definitely got some of his father's talents, which is a good thing.
Banderas I always enjoy somehow. The funniest thing in the movie is Enrico Colantoni as the Italian chef who's obsessed with Ryan's character, and his outtakes during the credits of one particular scene are hilarious. Or maybe just ridiculous. But if you're in a position where you have to watch something in the RomCom area, this is pretty decent and has enough that you don't feel like you're watching some crap.
