Review of My Man Godfrey (1936) by Curtis H — 07 Oct 2008
William Powell is charming, sublte, and clever as ever. Carole Lombard is absolutely brilliant. The supporting performances are hilarious. Not only is the screenplay one of the greatest in the history of scewball comedy, the class polarization displayed rightly earned this movie the classification of "Culturally Significant" by the Library Congress.
