My Man Godfrey is a superb comedy that is also surprisingly insightful about the issue of social class. The film is quirky, hilarious, and heartfelt and there's never a dull or weak moment to be found.
It's simply one of the best comedies ever made, in my opinion. However, it deserves more recognition because it is one hell of a film that seems to go largely unnoticed. If you love a great comedy, then you must see this film because it is absolutely wonderful.
