Review of My Man Godfrey (1936) by David H — 14 Oct 2009
The amazingly subtle straight man William Powell is surrounded by a cast of oddities whose antics border on slapstick and the cinematic world is the better for it. Very funny, with razor sharp wit cutting through film at every step.
