Review of My Man Godfrey (1936) by R H — 31 Aug 2014
I think this is the only film I have seen with Carole Lombard in it. Now I understand her appeal (even though her character is extremely annoying at times) . Eugene Pallette is hysterical as Lombard's father.
Gail Patrick is fantastic as Lombard's sister, as is Alice Brady as the dizzy mother. And of course William Powell's not too bad either. Killer dialogue.
