It was surprisingly good. Decent writing, intimidating villains, superb soundtrack, smooth and expressive animation, and some really breathtaking visuals. Quite frankly, I think just experiencing the musical numbers on the big screen is worth the price of admission.
Sure, it may not be high art, and it has it's problems, but there was some real heart behind this film.
