Review of My Little Pony: The Movie (2017) by Zoe B — 23 Oct 2017
1 hour and 44 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. OK, I probably wasn't going to find a cure for cancer in that time, but it would have been better spent picking the fluff out of my belly button.
Or gazing listlessly out of the window. Or watching paint dry. Anyway, I'd say really don't go to see this movie unless you have to. And I mean unless someone Is literally forcing you at gunpoint.
It's really very dull: totally forgettable songs; schmaltzy moralising; dumb story; no laughs. And the "mild fantasy violence" is misjudged, going by the number of terrified and screaming under-6s in the cinema.
Don't bother with this pointless movie - then at least I won't feel the waste of almost 2 hours of my life was in vain. You're welcome.
