Loved this movie. It was fun, funny, flowed very well from act to act, scene to scene. The characters were interesting, and the songs were awesome. MLP truly is something that transcends all age and gender demographics.

It's easy to empathize with the characters and see real personality in them, each one distinct from one another. Well done, Hasbro. Well worth a trip with friends or family. Parents won't be bored, you just have to allow yourself to enjoy a little girl's cartoon and be able to judge it for the quality of the actual content, instead of any preconceived notions you might have had walking in.
