Visually, the animation is absolutely fantastic. If you miss traditional 2D animation, this has it in spades. It is about 2.5D, sort of like the newer seasons of Futurama.
Story wise is average. The songs are catchy and memorable. I do get a distinct impression the movie is trying too hard to be epic.
But it sells well on rewatching.
