Reminded me so much of the great animated musicals of the past. The animation was thankfully 2 dimensional which was important for the nostalgia aspect. It was lovely! The songs were Oscar worthy and the plot was something we all need right now: friendship, working together, making mistakes and being forgiven.

Perhaps many won't give this a chance because it sounds like a movie for little girls, but it is not. I very much hope that many boys and men will see this without worrying about gender stereotypes.

This is for everyone except really small kids as of course, as with most movies, there is a dark element to overcome. I highly recommend this movie. Give it a try with an OPEN MIND.
