Review of My Little Pony: The Movie (2017) by Chris%20 H — 07 Oct 2017
I enjoyed the movie. But I am a fan of the TV-show.
If you gonna see this in a theater: don't expect it to be like a Disney classic movie. Don't expect top of the line animation or intricate plot twists.
If you gonna see this together with your kids: you won't feel the urge to smash your head to the desk or to poke your eyes and ears out in order to survive the bright colors and sweet voices.
If you are a fan: please let other people watch it undisturbed.
In the end it's a movie targeted at girls aged 5-10 to promote a toy line. And it has some references to please older fans and viewers.
I am sure that everybody who gave 4 stars or higher has no problem telling you Pinkie Pie's full name or count down at least six members of the Apple family.
