My Little Pony Equestria Girls was a great follow-up to the conclusion of the 3rd season. For people (NY moms, bronies, fans) who were turned off by the look of the Ponyville friends in the trailer, I would say that you are really missing out on a great story.
Without spoiling anything, fans only need to know that this story arc has both ponies and the magic of friendship that makes the series so popular. The MLP team at Hasbro Studios did a fantastic job and I highly recommend every pony fan see this movie ASAP.
