Review of My Life in Ruins (2009) by Liza C — 07 Jan 2010
This would have been a thoroughly average romantic comedy except for three things. One-amazingly beautiful scenery. I now want to go to Greece...like tomorrow! Two is the acting of Alexis Georgoulis and three is Richard Dreyfuss.
He has the best character in the film and plays him with just the right amount of sass and heart. While I wouldn't actively seek out the film for a second viewing, if it appeared on cable or on the flight home I would certainly watch it again without complaint.
