Review of My Life in Ruins (2009) by Ellenrebekah A — 29 Jan 2015
Irv is the best part of the movie. It may only have a pg-13 rating, but there are plenty of references to deserve it. Poupi is pretty sweet, but his end makeover was too much. But perhaps he would relax it when they find their new normal.
And their end, oi. The story had come to a reasonably sweet conclusion, and then they dump Velveeta over it. Most of the other characters resolved well (family or three, hopeful parents, and rehabilitated grandad with his klepto wife).
One costume question: is even a well-dressed tour guide going to navigate all those ruins in heels?
