Review of My Kid Could Paint That (2007) by Michael B — 10 Mar 2009
A balanced documentary about an interesting subject in its own right - if a 4-year old's fingerpaintings can be sold as modern abstract art, is there even any such thing? - that unexpectedly (even for the filmmaker) turns into a compelling whodunit.
Tightly edited, chock full of information, interesting subject and characters, presents all sides, and even builds to an exciting climax.
