Review of My Fair Lady (1964) by Jeremy C — 26 Jan 2014
Musicals are not normally my "cup of tea". However, I found this film to be enormously clever. Henry and Eliza are beautiful characters that are brought to life by Hepburn and Harrison.
The songs throughout the film were incredible catchy. In particular the harmously way that Eliza's father and his friends song the words "Wit a bit of luck".
I am not likely to choose to watch a musical over any other form of film. BUT... if this is an incredible film that happens to be a musical, and I am grateful for the experience of watching it.
