I think the thing I love best about this musical is just how charming it is. The songs are all really great and the acting is pretty good too, but the characters are just so charming you can't help but root for them.
The story in itself is original and was a lot of fun to watch unfold. This film is very well made, lots of fun to watch and was an all around great film. The film is based on a play and the movie definately feels like one, but at least they tried to stretch it creatively.
Even though the film is almost 3 hours long, this film still went by really fast and, while not up to par with other musicals I love, is still fantastic.
