Review of My Fair Lady (1964) by Bob W — 11 Aug 2014
The best picture of 1964 is also a personal favorite at least since high school when I was in the school play. Rex Harrison was made for the role of Higgins. Hepburn is as charming and winsome as ever (we've all "grown accustomed to her face"), but her voice was dubbed over for the songs.
My soundtrack has Julie Andrews. "Wouldn't it be loverly" to see her in the film since she did the mega popular Broadway version? The musical version of Pygmalion is far superior to the original material.
