Review of My Dinner with Andre (1981) by Steve P — 19 Jul 2008

This ambitious movie centers on two old friends having a conversation over dinner for almost two whole hours. It's perhaps a little slow to get into because you're not really sure where it's going, but soon enough the conversation becomes so engaging that you lose sense of time.

It's not everyone's thing though and may even come across as mental masturbation, but I think you need to have a certain outlook on life to really benefit from this film. Definitely left an impression on me.
