Review of My Dinner with Andre (1981) by Jayden C — 04 Jan 2011
The premise alone of this film got me interested. It's a testament to an artist to make something interesting with the simplist of premises. Indeed, it's takes more talent to describe someone sitting 20 minutes alone than say an intergalactic war in outer space.
When was the last time you really felt a true feeling? What is it like to even be human? This film is a exenstial philosophical conversation over a dinner in New York city in the early 80s. It's unbelievably interesting and leaves an impression that you're likely to have with you for a very long time.
Highly recommended watching.
