Kirk Douglas as a womanizing author of romance novels, who's field of play is his own apartment where he woos the latest batch of secretaries he "hires" as he creates his next book. Keenan Wynn has the impossible task as Douglas' best friend and .
.. umm, comic relief, maybe. Laraine Day has the impossible task of selling us that she doesn't mind the out-of-control woman hating in this feature. No doubt this can be seen as some sort of cultural curiosity, or under-the-table commentary, but I didn't like it.
