Persist in dreaming. That's what I got out of this film. At the very least, be obnoxious about your dreams.
Brian Herzlinger has a very creative approach. After six years of scraping by after film school he forms a plan and not only makes an attention-getting film but makes his own childhood dream come true.
This was a refreshing film. Sure, it's a cheesy documentary, but I'd watch My Date With Drew over any Michael Moore film anytime. I prefer to see the good in the world.. and I'll support anyone with a dream.
