Brian Herzlinger is a 30 something year old hairy-jewish man, on the brinks of being homeless, unemployed and possibly mentally unstable.

The only thing that gets him motivated? Drew Barrymore, a woman (WAY out of his league) that could careless if he existed. The stalker/crush steming back from childhood memories of the 80's hit ET, with a signed polariod picture of her at 8 years old by his bedstand....

Things Only gets weirder when Herzlinger ask his (current girlfriend) about dating advice with Drew Barrymore followed by a public break-up via awkward phone call. The embarrassment hits an ultimate low when his family shuns his failing adventure on a small technicality: Herzlinger's mother disproves because she thinks Quote- unquote: "Drew Barrymore is a drunken slut".

But regardless of the odds against Herzingler chances of meeting Drew Barrymore- He gets his dream Date across the country in New York and surprisingly Barrymore is just as nervous and encourages him to follow his dreams especially if they seem impossible or insane. The ending gives closure and hope- the end.
