Review of My Darling Clementine (1946) by Pavandeep S — 16 Mar 2008
My first Ford and I'll never forget this. Amazing film, especially the shootout. IT was shot like a painting, the composition was always done with the characters being a part of the entire location and it was beautiful to look at.
It is very different from the spaghetti westerns where close-ups were emphasized together with frenzied cuts. A genuinely nice film, very different too, aside the last scene, most shootings never drag and the movie was really a romanticised tale of the west.
