Review of My Darling Clementine (1946) by Lauri L — 20 Oct 2011
I was completely taken by surprise over this film. First it is technically a master piece. Shot by shot Ford takes breath away and prooves he is a trustworthy in technical merits. When it comes to characters he seems to fumble a bit but then in the midst of this film characters and narrative just clicks and you are taken by this great feeling of satisfaction - as this story was meant to be told and in this particular fashion.
Then again at the end Ford fumbles a bit but the feeling that washes over is complete satisfaction.
