What couldve been a good slasher film ends up being pretty mediocre.. actually thats too nice a word to describe this... bloody awful is better. The 3D effects were incredibly lame, I watched this on DVD not 3D but it was obvious when 3D was being used.
Much like in The Final Destination, the murders, acting, pacing, writing and effects were all bad. The twist at the end was just pathetic, even more so than that of All The Boys Love Mandy Lane. Some of the murder scenes were supposed to be tense and scary but came off as slapstick comedy and rather dull, the motel and supermarket scenes are the biggest offenders.
I realy hope this 3D trend dissappears very soon as it obviouslt does not work! Only if the director knows what hes doing (Avatar, anyone).. Please leave 3D for good films that actually need it to tell the story and not as a gimmick to get more money in the box office.
