Review of My Bloody Valentine (2009) by John W — 27 Dec 2014
'My Bloody Valentine' knows what it is and its target audience--it tirelessly works to discover every possible way to kill someone with a pick axe, and it seeks to scare love struck high schoolers that use scary movies to enhance their relationships. Surprisingly its goals are accomplished with ease and credit should be granted for its effort, but this blood bath lacks any redeeming qualities outside of the sense of nostalgia that a campy stalking killer can inspire.
Probably worth the ticket if seen in 3D, a terrible ending makes it just not worth the time back in the flat real world.
