It was NOT as bad as all the reviews. A little disjointed, a little slow, a little lame but at the same time heart-warming, funny and sweet. It had moments. If you don't want to drop the $$ to see it at the movies, rent it on DVD. After seeing the movie, I reflected on how the screenplay could be improved, I would have tightened the focus of the movie a bit and started it off with Gus having a discussion about how.
"we all are Greek" because of Alexander the Great". Then have Gus learning how to use the ancestry program, followed by him finding his wedding certificate as he rummaged through his family documents. He learns the wedding certificate was never signed, etc... I think Nia was so focused on wanting the audience to recollect moments from the first movie some 15 years ago that she could not or did not want to be objective about the script. Anyone know how I can get a job as a script writer?
