Review of My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 (2016) by Brittany S — 04 May 2016
Obviously, most sequels are not as good as the original and the same goes for this sequel. It had cute intentions but killed the happy vibe that the original movie left us in. That feeling of "happily ever after" or "love conquers all," even family traditions.
The movie talked place years after their marriage and things are not doing as well. The honey moon stage or high from seeking around is gone, there is little magic left not just for Tula and Ian but also for her parents.
Though we do see more Windex problem solutions, Windex still can't bring back the same feel of the original move. Instead of excitement over new love, get ready for one hit after the other. Don't worry though, Hollywood can't go without fixing g everything by the end. Too bad the Roses (War of the Roses) couldn't show them how to liven an ending scene up.
