I'm not sure about the "critics consensus" review - they must be a bunch of critics that don't live in a family, have never experienced the complexities of middle age, or lived through the complexities of marriage.
A delightful film, not complex but with enough depth that you can actually reflect a bit on real life, while still getting plenty of laughs. Strongly recommend.
