Review of My Best Girl (1927) by Joel A — 07 Aug 2012
Mary Pickford's final silent film before her unsuccessful foray into early talkies, and what a film to go out on.
It's such a charming and likable film...clearly both Charles 'buddy' Rogers & Pickford had such a chemistry and went on to marry in ten years & stayed together for the rest of her natural life.
This film is simple but has has great scenes & scenery and has been copied many times in romantic comedies in years to come.I think it's such a fantastic Pickford film & in many regards one of her best.
