Review of My Beautiful Laundrette (1985) by Kevin D — 06 Jan 2010
I finally saw this film after so many people recommended it to me. I think it should be required to see every Daniel Day-Lewis film (there isn't that many) at some point. His performance here is heartfelt, tender, and concrete.
The film, on the other hand, is very uneven despite being well-written; and I almost couldn't get passed the bad scoring.
