Review of My Beautiful Laundrette (1985) by Courtney S — 06 Jul 2008
This is a film that pulses with life. A study in cinematic realism that does not sully itself with cheap character explanations or over-wrought plotting. The characters are real, three-dimensional people working through societal and personal relationships.
A great film well worth a spot in the Netflix queue.
