Review of Mutiny on the Bounty (1935) by Stefanos T — 11 Apr 2011
Mutiny on the Bounty is a solid film. It's not so much Oscar worthy but still very entertaining, featuring Charles Laughton amazing performance as the cold, remorseless, and impartial captain. Surprisingly, I didn't enjoy Clark Gable in this movie.
I am not sure why but I think he can only be as good as the woman behind him. And in this movie the female counterpart was almost non existent.
