The negative reviews are unfounded. I don't even like Paul Rudd, but this film plays by the same Brit rules as the Luther series on BBC, with some of the premonition flashes of Momento, and a bit of the Lock Stock & Two smoking barrels who done it.
I'm guessing the criticism has a lot to do with the lack of firepower, or the thinking man's game.
