Review of Mutant Chronicles (2008) by Alysia V — 31 May 2010

I've seen a lot of reviews say that this was styled in a "Sky Caption" sort of way, and I find myself having to agree with them. That was one of this films plusses, was that I enjoyed the way it was filmed with it's sort of strange coloring and surreal feel.

However, that was pretty much the only part of this movie that I enjoyed. I do like Ron Perlman and I rather enjoyed Anna Walton in this, also. I always love a girl that can hold her own and kick some serious ass.

She was probably my favorite character in this movie. But the rest of the cast was lacking, as was the storyline, in my opinion. It just didn't feel unique to me and it was unnecessarily gory. Eh, just not my type of movie, I suppose.
