Truly, truly awful. One of the most terrible plots I have ever had to witness on screen. A meteorite hits earth just after the end of the ice age and turns half the human race into mutants (half zombie/half crab), they are all bundled into a huge hole and sealed away for eternity.

Flash forward to the year 2707 (stay with me it gets better!) and the earth is in the middle of the war between four huge organisations (no more countries anymore) during which the seal is broken and the crab men are released.

The crab men then wipe out almost all the earth and turn the victims into crab men/women. A band of warriors are brought together by Perlman's irish/scottish/welsh priest Samuel and led on a suicide mission to save the earth.

And that is about it. Awful acting, really terrible effects and dire script make this a real turkey. John Malkovich is in this for about 3 minutes screen time and looks like he is being held at gunpoint to perform, Perlman is usual b movie self and Thomas Jane is the only saving grace on leading man duties but should sack his agent for getting him gigs like this.
