I was able to DVR this, did it ever make it to the theateres?
In any case this is a nicely crafted (old school: models, matte painting, etc.) sci-fi / horror film, with an impressive cast.
While the story was predictable, there was enough going on visually to make up for it.
Ultimately it felt like story (and characters) would have been better served on a more "epic" scale. Like as a (mini) series perhaps?
Still...I think fans of sci-fi and horror will enjoy this.
