Okay this is a basic chick-flick. I love Diane Lane and John Cusack though. This is a romantic comedy that won't have you laughing out loud, but it has some funny bits.. mostly it's clever and touching(when I was younger I sure wouldn't have liked this film).
The chemistry between Lane and Cusack seems forced though, it's much more natural between Lane and Mulroney. But much like how women are in real life they don't always pick the "right" guy first off.
I gotta give much hate to the little "chase" sequence at the end... yes I know women HAVE to have a chase in their romantic comedies but this one was more out of place than most.
