Very well done documentary on the studios of Muscle Shoals, Alabama - the defining epicenter of Southern soul - where a daunting wealth of amazing music was recorded. "That sound made it through to even Ireland and Britain.
We felt the blood in that. We felt the sort of pulse of it. And we wanted some, you know? ... It always seems to come out of the river. You know, even in Liverpool, the Mersey sound. And then, of course, Mississippi.
And here you have the Tennessee River. It's like the songs come out of the mud." -Bono.
