Review of Murphy's Romance (1985) by Shawn G — 28 Mar 2010
Simply a good movie. no convoluted twist, no deep underlying philosophical subliminal meanings, just james garner doing what he does best. be charming. he is the george clooney proto-type of his day. ms.
field does what she does best, fret and act disheveled. the story such as it is, rolls right along, skipping over the lives of the players like a stone across a lake. I liked it.
