Review of Murmur of the Heart (1971) by Nooshin M — 27 Sep 2007
The most controversial film of Louis Malle's career where he takes on a study on an incestuous relationship between a mother and son, but Malle has the good taste of keeping the kinky stuff very low profile, where everything is played out essentially by suggestion.
Nicely done and the poetry of the images is stunning.
