Review of Murmur of the Heart (1971) by Rod A — 29 Sep 2009
A heartfelt film about the pain and confusion associated with finding one's true self. The volatile emotional landscape of the teenage years is on full view here. The film takes its time and allows us to see the vulnerability and anger of its characters.
I will say I found the ending too abrupt and disharmonious with what had gone before. Ah well...it's still worth seeing.
