Though it has beautiful production design, excellent cinematography, great score, and Kenneth Branagh's outstanding lead performance, Murder On The Orient Express never managed to capture the exciting steps of solving the mystery due to its thin characters and inconsistent pacing, and a somewhat predictable reveal once all the cards are laid out.
