Review of Murder on the Orient Express (2017) by Susanna M — 13 Mar 2018
As someone who highly enjoys a good adaptation of a previous medium, this film does well in satisfying me. I see the same flow and dynamic as Agatha Christie's original story. And as someone who only pays attention to how actors perform rather than their careers, they did their job wonderfully by bringing a face to the book characters and playing to the dramatic environment.
This will be stored as a comfort-movie, a film that is self-contained with no loose ends or cliffhangers (except the mention of a possible sequel or second stand alone film in a potential franchise).
